Tali and Damian have finished their survey work at Hamelin Station Reserve. It was a great success and we thank Bush Heritage for the opportunity to help out.

The trapping recorded a total of 30 species, including tiny goannas, range restricted skinks ranging, blind snakes to hopping mice. There was also a few surprises in between like a disorientated Chestnut Quail Thrush, a pretty and often difficult bird to see, which had stumbled into one of our pitfall traps.

Again, thank you to BHA and Ben Parkhurst for the opportunity to help out and we look forward to continuing our relationship with BHA into the future.
