Brad Durrant finalist in portrait prize

Brad Durrant’s monochromatic image of ultra-marathon burns survivor Turia Pitt is among the 40 finalists selected for the Black Swan Prize for Portraiture (https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/24604132/race-fire-survivor-inspires-artist/). Brad was also a finalist in 2011 (https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/galleries/g/9939360/black-swan-prize-finalists/9939504/) with a stunning portrait of Narelda Jacobs. This years Black Swan attracted over 350 entries from across Australia with the 40 finalists going on display at Lynton and Kay Galleries, Perth, from October 9-19. A People’s Choice Prize will be conducted during the exhibition, enabling the public to vote for their favourite artwork. http://www.blackswanprize.com.au
